THE JESUS AND THE MARY CHAIN ANNOUNCE CARDIFF SHOW
The Jesus and Mary Chain have announced the 'Damage and Joy Tour' in support of their first album in 18 years, and will stop off at Y Plas, Cardiff Students’ Union on Tuesday the 3rd of October!
Hailed as one of the most influential bands of their era, crashing into the public's consciousnesses with their 1985 debut album ‘Psychocandy’, which still frequents 'Best Albums Lists' across the world including Rolling Stone. The band would release 5 more albums until their demise in 1998, by which the band had devolved into chaos and terminal conflict. It would take another 8 years for the band to reform for their comeback performance at Coachella Festival.
The Scottish five-piece will go out on tour this October, with their first full-length release in over 18 years, ‘Damage and Joy’ which was described as having “moments of pure bliss” according to The Guardian.
